Welcome from the Athletic Director

These are exciting times, especially for Alter athletics!  The teams have continued our tradition of excellence!  We’ve earned three State Championships (Girls Cross Country, Girls Basketball, and Football) and three State Runners-Up (Girls Cross Country, Boys Soccer, and Girls Volleyball) during last two school years.  We’ve been fortunate to earn eight State Championships since 2000 in six different sports.

The boys compete in the Greater Catholic League (GCL), while the girls teams compete in the Girls Greater Cincinnati League (GGCL).  We’ve earned the All-Sports Trophy for the 7 years in a row in the GGCL and have won the All-Sports Trophy in the GCL 4 straight years!  

It takes determination and dedication on the part of our student-athletes and coaches to maintain such a strong overall athletic program year in and year out.  It also takes a special commitment from our parents and supporters to make the program such a strong one.  Thanks to each of you for all that each of you contribute to make the Alter athletic program a special one!
