The purpose and mission of the Alter High School Cheerleading program is to bring together students, alumni, and fans in the community to create spirit, pride and traditions, which support Alter High School and its athletic traditions. Squads include Freshmen, JV, and Varsity in football, basketball and soccer.
2013-2014 Cheer Tryouts Announced
Sunday, April 14th, 2013
3:30 PM- Pre-tryout meeting in the Cafeteria
Monday, April 22nd - Thursday, April 25th, 2013- **TRYOUTS**
4:00-6:00 PM- April 22nd, & 23rd, Tryout clinics in the Aux Gym
4:00-6:00 PM- April 24th, MOCK Tryout and final review in the Aux Gym
4:00-8:00 PM*- April 25th, ACTUAL TRYOUT DAY in the Aux Gym
*Aux gym booked for extra time. Tryouts will end when the last group goes, which should be before 8:00PM.
**Tryouts will begin at 4:00 PM on Thursday. Cheerleaders need to be there right after school!!**
The post-tryout meeting is April 30 @ 5:00PM in the cafeteria and all payments will be due at that time.
Summer Camp Dates
Cheer Camp will be at Miami University July 11th, 2013 thru July 14th, 2013. Cheer camp is mandatory for all cheerleaders who make a squad!!
