Answering The Call  

We have received a tremendous response to the early phases of our Capital Campaign and I’m very grateful for the outpouring of gifts of prayer, involvement, and financial resources that have helped us realize our early goals for the campaign. Our vision for Alter is coming to fruition and will further establish us as a leader in Catholic education in the region while influencing and transforming lives now and in the future.

The “Answering the Call” campaign, despite a stubborn and fluid economy, has raised $5.3 million of our $15 million goal. We are patient as God knows what we need and will provide answers to our prayers. With a strong foundation in faith, and pride in our success thus far, we know our strength of spirit will help us reach our goal.

• A freshly, remodeled chapel and campus ministry room for our students to find the peace of Christ at challenging times.

• An entirely, reconstructed science wing boasting cutting-edge technology in six modern-day labs giving our students a competitive-edge for exhilarating careers.

• A completely revamped chef lab with separate, fully equipped food preparation areas with the latest technology to assist in demonstrating culinary techniques.

• Increased parking with a new flow of traffic, creating a more secure entrance for our students.

• A renovated Spirit Shop and gymnasium and completion of wireless technology throughout the building.

• Endowment plans to financially support attractive salary and benefit plans for our faculty as well as tuition assistance for families.

Still on the horizon are:

• Collaborative agreements with neighboring partners that will give our Knights new athletic facilities that match their championship performance.

• A newly constructed Performing Arts Center with a 500 seat auditorium, new music, art and theatre classrooms with an art gallery entry.

• Various renovations and improvements to the existing building that includes the advancement of learning-based technology.
