The Alter Community

Alter High School is very fortunate to be in partnership with some of the areas finest elementary institutions in preparing students for Alter High School. A vast majority of our students come to Alter from one of our five primary partner schools: St. Albert the Great, Bishop Leibold, St. Charles Borromeo, Holy Angels, and Incarnation. However, just as important is our association with all local Catholic churches as well as our tributary parishes without schools, such as St. Augustine of Germantown, St. Augustine of Waynesville, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Leonard Faith Community.

Additionally, Alter is becoming known to the broader Christian community as a stellar educational environment of excellence that, in addition to the Catholic faith, practices an acceptance of all denominations and remains strongly committed to faith development, moral behavior and values based learning. This very positive identity has opened our doors to a growing number of Christian families seeking a high school that leads its education with the teachings of Jesus Christ, and many of these families are discovering a perfect choice in Alter High School.
